This weekend we are continuing to work on 2.5 kilometres of hedge at the Sandy Smith Nature Reserve which is ideal for beginners to learn hedge laying using hand tools. We will mostly be laying South of England style, but you will also get the opportunity to learn how to lay crop and pleach style using live stakes and to compare and contrast these two hedge laying styles.
